Job Title: Auto Body Repair Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Assistant to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced auto body technicians to assist with vehicle disassembly, surface preparation, sanding, masking, minor repair work, and reassembly. This is an ideal entry-level or junior position for someone looking to grow their skills in the automotive body repair industry.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Preparation & Disassembly
Clean and inspect incoming vehicles for damage before repair work begins.
Assist technicians in removing damaged body parts, trim, bumpers, handles, and interior components.
Store and organize removed parts and hardware securely.
Surface Prep & Sanding
Wash, degrease, and prep surfaces for repair and painting.
Sand, grind, and buff vehicle surfaces using power sanders and hand sanding techniques.
