Highly Rated Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Mason with strong carpentry experience to join our construction team. This role focuses on carpentry-related tasks while working alongside masonry and general construction projects.
Job Description
The Mason (Carpentry-Based Role) will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and components on residential and commercial job sites. The successful candidate will support overall construction activities and work closely with masonry teams to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair wooden structures such as framing, formwork, and supports
Read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and specifications
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
Install doors, windows, cabinets, and trim
Build formwork for concrete and masonry projects
Assist with general construction and site preparation
Ensure work is completed safely and to quality standards
Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry or related construction work
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Knowledge of construction methods and materials
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
