About the role
The interested candidate must possess 1-2 years’ experience in the construction industry. Willing and able to work without supervision also on weekends and holidays if required. The job description entails assisting the carpenter and performing various tasks as assigned, sawing wood pieces according to the provided instructions for each project. Getting tools and materials that the carpenter will need, build scaffolding, shoring, braces, cut and install insulation, installing trim and cabinets, set hollow doors and frames, smooth and sand surfaces to remove ridges, tool marks, glue, caulking and cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
