About the role
IMP Agency Ltd is seeking a Logistics Clerk to support and liaise between its Import and Export Departments.
Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, preparing and maintaining shipping documents, tracking cargo, communicating with customers, agents, carriers and suppliers, and following up on shipment matters.
The successful candidate must have
- Previous Proven experience in import and export operations.
- Knowledge of import and export procedures, shipping terminology and international shipping documents.
- Familiarity with shipment tracking and customs requirements.
- Strong written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.
- Good computer, communication and organisational skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software.
