About the role
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of site workers, providing both collaborative and independent support to fellow team members and the site supervisor in meeting the company’s daily contracted work schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the professional application of interior and exterior plastering and finishing, in both residential and commercial buildings.
- Strong knowledge of, and ability to consistently follow, construction site safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work safely at heights and perform duties without fear of heights.
- Experience operating a range of plastering equipment, including mixers and pumps.
- Proven experience in the application of stucco, marmaron, and other fine interior and exterior finishing materials.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and lifting/carrying heavy materials to and from job sites.
- Professional demeanor both on and off-site, maintaining the company’s professional reputation.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and supervisors.
- Punctual and dependable, with solid time management skills.
- Flexible schedule, with willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Compensation
- Hourly wage: CI$10 – CI$15 (dependent on experience) with statutory benefits provided.
