Senior Hair Stylist

Style Lounge Ltd is seeking a highly experienced, skilled, and professional Senior Hair Stylist to join our newly established mobile beauty salon in the Cayman Islands. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 15 - 20 years of professional experience in the hairdressing industry, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise, creativity, leadership, possess a clean drivers’ license and reliable transportation, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair cutting, styling, colouring, highlighting, balayage, and advanced chemical treatments.
• Perform expert consultations to assess clients' hair types, conditions, preferences, and styling requirements.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in precision cutting, colour correction, hair treatments, and modern styling techniques.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of current industry trends, products, equipment, and professional hair care techniques.
• Recommend appropriate hair care products and treatments to clients.
• Manage client appointments efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with salon hygiene and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Assist salon management with maintaining quality standards, inventory control, and daily salon operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 20 years of verifiable professional experience as a Hair Stylist, with extensive experience in a senior-level position.
• Recognized professional certification, diploma, or qualification in Hairdressing or Cosmetology.
• Advanced technical skills in hair cutting, colouring, chemical processing, and styling for various hair types and textures.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced colour correction, highlighting, and contemporary hair styling techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by business operations.
• Ability to maintain the highest standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and workplace professionalism.
• Proven experience managing client appointments and computerized salon booking systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems, processing client payments, and completing checkout transactions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, including stocking and procurement of beauty supplies and salon products.
• Must have a clean drivers’ license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
